1.  How to pay for a slot or slots on the laser cutter

Once you have spoken to the technician via e-mail about your project and how long it will take to make, then please pay for a slot or slots to cover the laser cutting time.

The slots are for 15 minutes and the cost is £1.25 each.

1 slot - 15 minutes = £1.25

2 slots - 30 minutes = £2.50

3 slots - 45 minutes = £3.75

4 slots - 60 minutes = £5.00

5 slots - 75 minutes = £6.25

6 slots - 90 minutes = £7.50

7 slots - 105 minutes = £8.75

8 slots - 120 minutes = £10.00

YOU CAN ONLY BOOK A MAXIMUM OF 8 SLOTS

NOTE: Please make sure you buy the correct amount of slots for your laser cutting – a technician can advise you regarding this.

2.   Booking time on the laser cutter

Once you have paid for the laser cutting slots then please e-mail:

epsomlasercutting@uca.ac.uk

your payment receipt.

The technician will then contact you about a suitable time for you to laser cut.

NOTE: Approved laser grade materials only.

For VAT purposes we need to identify which bookings are for Student Course related work and which are for Student Non Course Work, Staff and Visitors.

Available to MA and BA CGJM, Glass and Ceramics students studying at Farnham & students from any other disciplines engaging in Ceramic workshops - for purchasing clay.  For staff purchases, please select the Staff options.
